Sauna correctly with us!

At Talaria Resort & SPA, we ensure the highest standards of sauna use.

  • BEFORE ENTERING THE SAUNA, wash your entire body thoroughly and dry yourself. After using the sauna, take a shower. You should not use the sauna immediately after a heavy meal.
  • HEATING

DRY SAUNA - sit or lie down with your whole body on a towel. Also use a towel under your feet and back. Do not enter the sauna in a swimsuit or flip-flops. STEAM BATH - remove your swimsuit and flip-flops and use the sauna naked. Remember to rinse the seat with water from a hose before and after use. In the bath, we sit or lie naked on the tiles of the seat. We stay in the sauna for a maximum of 15 minutes.

  • COOLING DOWN the whole body begins in the shower by rinsing it, starting from the legs towards the heart. Start with warm water and then cold water. It is also recommended to cool the head. Only after rinsing the body in the shower can you use the available water tanks.
  • We rest after the sauna for at least as long as we spent in the sauna. We consume large amounts of fluids - preferably water, natural isotonic drinks or juices.

We repeat the cycle several times. We warmly encourage you to take advantage of the sauna rituals conducted by our qualified sauna masters.

Sauna bathing is not only a pleasant way to spend your free time, but also a beneficial health practice that brings many benefits to the body. However, in order to fully enjoy the benefits of the sauna, it is worth following the rules of proper sauna bathing. What are the benefits of proper sauna use? The high temperature in the sauna causes blood vessels to dilate, which leads to increased blood flow. This improves circulation and oxygenation of tissues and organs. Regular use of the sauna can help lower blood pressure. High temperatures also improve the production of white blood cells. These, in turn, are responsible for the body's immunity. Therefore, regular sauna use can help strengthen the immune system, thereby reducing susceptibility to infections.

Saunas also affect the condition of the skin. Under the influence of heat, the pores on the skin open, which facilitates sweat secretion. Along with sweat, metabolic products, impurities and dead skin cells are more easily removed, making the skin smoother and healthier.

Saunas can also help fight acne and speed up the healing of minor wounds. They are also a great way to relax and unwind after a hard day or a weekend spa break for two. The high temperature and pleasant atmosphere of the sauna help to relax the muscles and calm the mind. Regular use of the sauna can help reduce stress and improve sleep quality. If you are new to the sauna, our staff will help you learn the rules of proper sauna use.
